Angelo Tirhas

Angelo Tirhas is Teambuilding Facilitator with Centre for Performance Transformation. He is a Youth Volunteer with RCS’ Centre for Youth.

He could be considered a people person. Within the personal performance improvement environment he tends to seek out an individual’s unique qualities and strength and use those to motivate and encourage the achievement of goals and to overcome obstacles that were previously assumed unlikely.

Angelo’s background is mostly in hospitality, catering and hotel management with companies such as The Hilton Group UK, and MacDonald Hotels and Resorts, at international locations such as UK, Greece, Germany, France and Egypt. Besides being responsible for meeting budget targets, marketing and asset management, Angelo also spent a large part of his time training and developing future managers. Angelo has supported clients like Central Provident Fund Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Maritime Port Authority and others.

Angelo is of Greek/South African descent and became a permanent resident in Singapore in 2008. He holds a Diploma in Therapeutic, Remedial and Sports Massage and a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies. He also holds a variety of licenses and certifications outside of the work environment, some of which are:

  • National Coaching Accreditation (NCAP) with Singapore Sports Council
  • Swimming Instructor (STC, STA UK)
  • PADI Divemaster
  • SSI Scuba Instructor
  • Private Pilot License (VFR)
  • PPCDL Boat License
